Where the Rainbow Grows by Ardail Where the Rainbow Grows by Ardail
Just something for :iconveggie55:'s contest. This is based on his comic "It's your life" [link], Where they said they missed Rainbow Dash. So I was terrible person and made this... HARD MODE! Play this song while looking at it [link]

Anyways I hope not too much quality was lost trying to paint 7 different pictures at once. The lighting and trying to work that close up to objects was the hardest parts to do on 7 different pictures.

And yes the name is a version of the name "where the red fern grows" such a sad book...

It's just such a sad song. Made me tear up at the end of skyward sword.

I really do need to remake this comic sometime. Make the feels look better

This is too sad! If Rainbow really did die, I would've cried 'till i've gone blind. Too amazing!!!!!

Sorry for the bucket load of feels :iconthatfeelplz:
I'm glad this old thing had that going for it. This is so old that looking back the artwork could really use an update

Very cool, love the sort of homage to "Where the Red Fern Grows".

you might be the only person who thought of that first, instead of the feels
But yes it was kind of homage to that since I cried to that book as a small child

Yeah, it was an awesome story, that's the first thing I thought of.

A very good classic.
I remember my 5th grade teacher reading it to the class and at one point he was having a hard time trying to read it because he was tear up so much

I had the same thing happen. My fourth grade teacher read most of the ending in tears, and when your 50 year old teacher can't hold back her tears, it's even harder for a fourth-grader to keep from crying.
